National Recognition and a Trip to Meet the President

St. Gabriel’s Catholic School students Drake Scallon, Chandler Diedrich, Connor Brucker, and Michael Martinez were honored for their volunteerism as representatives of their fellow classmates at a September 8, 2008, White House ceremony with President George W. Bush.

St. Gabriel’s was selected by The LEAGUE as the top “difference making” private school in Texas. THE LEAGUE was also recognized by President Bush for its work with young people, teachers and schools who have made a positive difference in their communities through philanthropy and volunteerism.
